Let me just start by saying that I am not a small gal, so I don’t have that cutesy pregnancy belly that some women get. I really don’t like shopping for clothes under normal circumstances, so you can only assume that I HATE shopping while pregnant.
All of my clothes from when I was pregnant with M are mostly fall/winter clothes because I had M in late winter. So my pregnancy wardrobe this time around has been substantially lacking. Now that I am finally starting to show somewhat, my normal shirts just aren’t fitting anymore. (I’ve been in maternity pants for a while now.) So, I finally had to break down and go shopping for a few shirts yesterday. I left work about 30 minutes early and headed to Target. I tried on some shirts, but the ones that were dressier for work weren’t exactly working for me because of chest size. So I went up a size or so in Women’s and let’s just say, Uh, no. Of course all the shirts that were dressy enough there had a ruffle or a bow and blech!
So I went down to Sears and they were having a clearance sale! I picked out a few shirts, an outfit, and a dress and headed into the dressing room. The only shirts they had that were equivalent with what I could wear to work were a small floral print. Eww! I felt like a doily. I mean seriously, it was something a 70-year-old woman would wear. The dress wasn’t doing it for me either (chest issue again). The outfit was the only thing that was dressy enough for work and allowed for room to grow. So I spent 30 dollars on ONE outfit. The good thing is that I power shop, so the entire shopping trip was one hour for both stores. So, I need about 3 shirts and I have ONE, and I have to go shopping AGAIN this weekend. GRR!

I heard that Old Navy has a cute Maternity section. I know they carry woman's sizes in clothing so I'm sure they'd have maternity as well.. and they wouldn't be tacky.
Try looking online?
Chris, if you're looking for plus size maternity wear at a [somewhat] reasonable price, I got all of mine from JCPenney. They were able to "pass" for dressy but were also casual enough to be comfortable...
