M is very much a snuggler; he always has been. He also loves to play with women's hair. I can always tell when he is getting tired, because he starts twirling my hair in hands or starts petting it (like he did just now). He's just always played with my hair when he needs consoling or is tired.
Last night we stayed at my mother's. Well, the thing is he snuggled against me all night last night. The guest room has a twin bed with a trundle which we pulled up for him. Around one, he ended up in the twin bed with me. The thing is the kids already have a case of sibling rivalry going on. The baby kicks at M in utero whenever M is in my lap, etc. So in order to get any sleep, my back had to be toward M which made my rhomboid muscles very sore. If I slept spooning M which is more comfortable for both of us, the baby kicked at M. Needless to say, I'm quite tired and sore tonight.
So, now, I'm sitting here waiting on B to call us back to wish us good night (called earlier about M's swim lessons which I will post about tomorrow), and I'm yawning like crazy, my eyes are watering, and my back is killing me.
Well, I let M watch cartoons in the living room earlier and went to the bedroom and turned on Prelude to a Kiss for lack of anything better to watch on TV. I got out our percussion massager to try and work some of the stiffness and soreness out of my back.
M came in there and told me to lie down with my head on a pillow and he rubbbed my back for me with the massager. He did a very good job for a little boy too. What a sweetheart I have. He's going to make a fine husband one day.
Well, I can't hold my eyes open much longer, so until tomorrow....
Pleasant dreams! (Hopefully for all of us tonight!)
