Twiddling my thumbs

Well, I came in today to a voice mail from GIT. She is sick (yeah, right), and she asked if I would prepare the estimate for this month's cash flow. Uh, why not? You've missed at least one important day in the few months you have been here. Why would this be any different? And BTW, I'm not buying the hacking, soft-toned, whiny voice mail one bit.

Our office move is today, so we have basically packed everything and we are sitting around twiddling our thumbs waiting on the movers. My boss has told us to leave when they show up (afternoon off with pay, dudes!). The only thing is that I have to hang out in the city until later because I'm going to pick up M's big surprise (more on that later). I think I'll hit some consignment shops while I'm waiting.
