The other day, we all loaded up in the truck and went to Walmart to pick up doughnuts on our way across town to my mother-in-law's house. Well, M surprised B while I was inside the store procuring our breakfast. "W....A....L.....O....M"
Now, I know M knows his ABCs. He knows his colors; he knows his shapes; he knows his numbers. It was the recognition of the letters and the phonetic sounds that I have been fighting him on. Well, it appears that he knows more than I thought. The little sneak! He's way to smart for his own good!
Thank goodness for the Leapfrog Fridge Phonics thing that drives me nuts!

I miss my bed
I'm sure some would think that this would be an odd thing to blog about, but I truly miss my bed. W is a noisy sleeper, and his crib is currently in our bedroom. I'm trying to make sure B (and M when he climbs into our bed at 1-3 am) can sleep. So ultimately when W wakes up for his first nighttime feeding, I remain in the recliner in the living room with him and we fall asleep there. Some times it is on purpose; most times it is accidentally.
As a result, my spot in our bed is probably feeling very neglected. I know I am missing snuggling up against the pillows and sleeping. There might be some consulation in that M finds himself in my spot.
